Oris Ramon Gray

July 16, 1940 ~ January 30, 2013

Ramon Gray, 72, of Lindon passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 after a sudden stroke.   Ramon was born July 16, 1940 in Lehi to Oris and Lela Hansen Gray.  He married Sally Johnson on June 7, 1961 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  Sally passed away in 2011.

Ramon grew up in Lehi and graduated from Lehi High School in 1958.  He worked for many years for Alpine School District as a maintenance worker.   Ramon loved hunting, fishing, and was an avid horseman.  His dog, Teddy was his faithful companion and confidant.  Sally and Ramon enjoyed the Bar J Wranglers and traveled to many shows.   They also enjoyed the cowboy poetry performed in Heber City. 

Ramon is survived by his two daughters: Robyn (David) Kinsey, Midway and Gina (Daren) Conder, Lindon; eight grandchildren: Travis & Jasie Kinsey,Natausha & Bridger Wilde, Brittney & Cody Coleman, Jessica  Jacob Martinos, Kayli Conder, McKinzy Conder, Morgan Conder, Shae Conder; three great-grandchildren: Paislee Coleman, Austin Wilde and Charli Wilde; two sisters: Glenna Miller, Lehi and Colleen (Robert) Harris, Lehi.  He was preceded in death by an infant son. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Lindon 18th Ward Chapel, 250 West 600 South (1030 W. 1600 N., Orem), Lindon.  Family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
