Solar energy companies from around the state will be in American Fork on Saturday, Sept. 24, in an event free to the public.

The exhibit, organized by T.R.A.-MAGE, Inc., a major suppliers of solar mounting solutions based in American Fork, and the Utah Solar Energy Association (UtSEA), strives to educate and present practical applications of solar energy. Students, community members, media, and state government officials are invited to attend, a press release said Friday.

This is the 2nd annual Utah Solar Tour.

The morning kickoff begins at 10 a.m. at Solar Educational Park, 1657 S. 580 E. in American Fork, with educational events including Renewable Energy 101 and Energy Efficiency 101.

Member companies of the UtSEA will also be on hand to help answer questions and provide up-to-date information on solar energy and technology.
